First off, we are here to coach, not judge! We will not rehash mistakes you have made in the past, we will focus on your future. Look, we have all done some stupid things with money. That is normal. What is important is that from this day forward we can make choices that move us closer to our goals.
In preparation for our first coaching session, we will send you a few very simple forms to complete. You will not have to gather years worth of data, nor with you have to spend hours getting to the exact detail. We simply want to get a snapshot of where you are at today. You will return these forms 48 hours prior to our appointment so that our coaches may be well prepared for our session. We want to use your time well!
It is important that you are transparent in the information provided. Again, we are here to coach for the future, not judge the past. As our session starts, we will begin to get to know you better then we will drive right into your most important financial issues.
Every situation is different. You might be concerned about college saving, retirement planning, debt elimination, creating a budget or more. We will get to know your concerns and help you chart a path to achieve your goals. Our aim is to define your future state, and then set a plan to move you from your current state to your future state. Sounds easy right! It's not. It will take some changes. A simple question will be, "what must be different from today in order for me to achieve tomorrow?" The good news is that it can be done. The American Dream is alive and everybody can prosper, but it takes a plan. It takes being intentional about your money and telling it where to go, instead of wondering where it went.
